Rain Rain Come Again
There's been plenty of damp weather this summer. You could stay inside and press your nose to the window and guess which raindrop will reach the bottom of the window pane first, like the child in AA Milnes poem Waiting at the Window or you could get out and play.
Splashing in puddles in welly boots is great fun, but have you ever paddled in a puddle in your bare feet. What does it feel like to wriggle your toes in rain water?
Have you tipped your head back and caught rain drops in your mouth? What does fresh rainwater taste like? What about the sploshes of water on your face? Did you get water running down your neck?
